1.1 Video Uploads

When you upload a video file (MP4), we collect:

  • The video file itself
  • Automatically generated audio and text transcripts
  • Metadata such as duration, file size, and language

These files are used only to provide the analysis and are not shared publicly.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

We collect basic technical data:

  • IP address
  • Browser type
  • Device type
  • Pages visited
  • Request logs (for security and troubleshooting)

1.3 Advertising Data

If you choose to watch a rewarded ad to unlock a report, the ad provider may collect:

  • Device identifiers
  • IP address
  • Basic performance metrics (ad impressions, ad completion)

We do not control their data practices. You should review their privacy policy separately.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Transcribe your video
  • Generate the Lite Analysis Report
  • Display results after ad unlock or payment

Improve the service

  • Monitor performance
  • Diagnose technical issues

We do not sell personal information or video content to third parties.

3. How Your Files Are Stored and Deleted

  • Uploaded videos are stored securely using encrypted storage.
  • Audio chunks and temporary processing files are deleted automatically after analysis.
  • Full transcripts and analysis results may be stored on our servers for your convenience unless you request deletion.
  • You may delete your video and report at any time by contacting us.

We do not use your uploaded content to train our own models.

Note: OpenAI may process your file for transcription and analysis under their standard data usage policy unless you are using enterprise-level isolation.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on:

  • OpenAI Whisper API for transcription
  • OpenAI GPT models for analysis
  • Ad provider for rewarded video unlock
  • Cloud infrastructure providers for hosting

These third parties process data only as needed to provide their portion of the service.

5. Cookies

We use cookies for:

  • Session management
  • Basic analytics
  • Remembering recent uploads

We do not use cookies for cross-site tracking.

6. Children's Privacy

PandaChecks is not intended for use by individuals under 13.

We do not knowingly collect information from children.

  • Rate-limiting and firewall protection

However, no system is 100 percent secure. You use the service at your own risk.
